Years in the making, Black Market Parade brings funk and jam-band styles to the rock genre. Grown from the rock ballads of Matt Bayuk (lead guitar, keys, vocals), the improvised jams style of Kyle Grundmann (bass, vocals), and the funk drums of Jeff Leech, BMP is a straightforward blend of high energy technical tunes.
The three Austin musicians have played in bands across the country and even toured Texas together in a red dirt rock and roll band in 2012. The BMP trio have nearly a decade of experience with one another, and their demo EP, just released, showcases their technical ability via track "Wherehouse", their varying style via track "Jump", and their pop sensibility in "Say Goodbye".
